Hike to Veľký Javorník and Malý Javorník

Meeting point: March 3, at Nivy bus station at 10:00.

This Sunday the hikers will set out on a hike to Veľký Javorník and Malý Javorník. They will meet at Nivy bus station for the 550 bus, that is leaving at 10:10 to Svätý Jur. That is where the hike will start.

The trail leads through vineyards, into the forest, then to Veľký and Malý Javorník. You can refresh yourself at the buffet at Bielý kríž, then head downhill to Detvianska tram stop, taking some forestry trails along the way.

The hike is 14 km in total, with some relatively mild elevation to climb. It is recommended to wear suitable boots or shoes as you will walk mostly on unmarked trails.

If you would like to go on the hike later, see the map below.
