Strongman 2015 Levice - the record by František Piros

New records made by Slovak strongmen – and strong-women

COMPETITIONS comparing the strength are popular – and sometimes even bring records. In mid October, the competition in Levice brought about a new record: strongman František Piros of Galanta beat his own Slovak record in lifting a burden above his head in a standing position. 

A total of 17 tram carriages for an atypical narrow-gauge track that will pass through Čiernohorská valley will arrive in spring 2021.

THE UNIQUE village of Zázrivá lies on the border of the Orava region, in northern Slovakia. It consists of 11 different hamlets – valleys called Biela, Plešivá, Dolina, Ráztoky, Grúne, Petrová, Demkovská, Havrania, Kozínska, Končitá, and Ústredie. They are spread out over 67 square kilometres, 600 metres above sea level.
