Latin Film Festival in Bratislava
The Days of Latin Film will show 15 movies shot in Spain, France and Italy between November 13 and 18 in original versions with Slovak subtitles. Spanish thriller Sé Quién Eres, about a man suffering amnesia, will open the festival at 18:30 on November 13, followed by Italian Cuori al Verde at 20:45.
November 14: French Y Aura-t-il de la Neige a Noel? starts at 18:00 and Italian Storie d'amore Con i Crampi, at 20:30. November 15: Italian psychological drama La Seconda Volta, about a man who meets a woman who once tried to kill him, begins at 18:00 and French love-story Venus Beaute at 20:30. November 16: Italian Rosa e Cornelia, picturing a relationship between an aristocrat and a maid, starts at 15:30, followed by French Boy Meets Girl at 18:00 and Spanish drama Cuando Vuelvas a mi Lado at 20:30. November 17: French Pult starts at 15:30, Italian historical drama Il Gattopardo begins at 17:30 and French Les Amoureux, about a young man discovering his homosexuality, at 20:45.
Three Spanish films, comedy Lista de Espera at 15:30, historical biography Goya en Burdeos at 18:00 and drama Flores de Otro Mundo at 20:30 will close the festival on November 18. AmCham Business Breakfast
The American Chamber of Commerce in Bratislava invites you to breakfast with EC Ambassador Walter Rochel, the Head of the Delegation of the European Commission in the Slovak Republic. Rochel will review the most important aspects of The Annual Regular Report of the European Commission on the progress of the Slovak Republic towards EU membership, which will be published on November 13. Int'l Women's Club Christmas Bazaar
The IWC's 11th Annual Christmas Charity Bazaar will be held from 10:30 to 16:30 on November 18 at the Stará Tržnica (Old Marketplace) on Námestie SNP. The Christmas Bazaar will include 23 international tables offering each country's characteristic gift items, food specialities, art and craft works, and nine charity tables.
