Bratislava DANCE:THE STATE Academic Ensemble of Popular Dance will perform in Bratislava on November 17. Established in 1937 by experimental Russian choreographer Igor Moiseyev, who The New York Times called “a visionary of balletic folk dance,” it was the first professional group to undertake artistic interpretation and promotion of the folk dancing of different peoples of the world. The Moiseyev Ballet’s splendid dancing regularly elicits standing ovations for its almost 200 members, who perform Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, Argentinean and many other national dances with perfection. Their spectacular show will take place at the Incheba Expo Arena at Viedenská cesta 3-7 on November 17, starting at 19:00. Tickets cost between Sk890 (€29.54) and Sk1,290 (€42.82). CONCERT:GRAMMY AWARD winner Seal is performing in Košice on November 22 to promote his latest album, System.
