Bratislava OPERA: LISTENING TO beautiful opera arias and watching stars in the sky will be possible on June 16 and 17 in Bratislava, as top singers from Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, Russia and the Czech Republic will perform Aida, Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi’s masterpiece, at the Sibamac Arena at Príkopova 6. The open-air opera, which will have its local premiere, speaks to the viewers not only through the artists’ ringing voices, but also thanks to flamboyant costumes and excellent fire effects. CONCERT:AFTER last year’s enormous success in the capital, famed American singer and musician Lenny Kravitz is heading to Košice on June 17 with his mixture of rock and pop rhythms.
