Bratislava CONCERT: The first concert in the Junior Cycle of the Slovak Philharmonic takes place on November 3 in the SND's historical building in Bratislava. It introduces Philharmonie der Animato Stiftung, an orchestra of talented music students from across Europe, directed by Howard Griffiths, with American Claire Huangci on piano. THEATRE: Black Peter - No Concert – This “Theatre Piece” by Compagnie Drift from Switzerland and its collaborators F. Gendre, M. Bertinelli and P. Schelling, merges music, dance, inventions, crafts, and theatre into a unique medley unlike any of its individual elements. The Theatre Institute has organised a series of performances and workshops as part of the Focus series, supported by the Swiss Embassy and other institutions and companies.

EXHIBITION: A travelling exhibition of political caricatures by Daryl Cagle and Shooty was launched on October 26 in SNP Square in Banská Bystrica. After November 9 it will travel to other Slovak cities and towns. Co-organised by the US Embassy in Slovakia and the civic association Euforion, it presents the best of Slovak and international political caricature: the work of Shooty (Martin Šútovec) is regularly published in the Sme daily; Daryl Cagle is the editorial cartoonist for US TV news channel MSNBC.

STREET-ART: Streetart Summit - This exhibition displays the results of the seventh annual graffiti and street-art workshop.
