EXHIBITION: Bratislava: “…čo tu bolo?” / Bratislava: “…what was here?” – The unique exhibition curated by Daniela Križanová documents how the Slovak capital has changed over the years by comparing and contrasting new photos with period postcards showing the same sites and streets in the city over a span of dozens (and sometimes a hundred) years.

FILM/BALLET: Swan Lake – The popular ballet by composer Tchaikovsky and choreographer Mario Petipa will be screened in a recorded broadcast of the performance, hailing the 275th anniversary of the Tsar’s Russian Ballet in St Petersburg, casting the famous ensemble of the Mariinsky Theatre. EXHIBITION: Klenoty Slovenska / Gems of Slovakia – This exhibition shows models of Slovak castles, mansions, churches and folk architecture, including replicas of the Renaissance bell-tower near the St Giles’ Church in Poprad, the Orava Castle, castles from the south of Slovakia that no longer exist, wooden churches listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and the pub that was featured in the movie “Báthory” by Juraj Jakubisko.
