THEATRE/BALLET: Carmen à la Gypsy Devils –The famous work by George Bizet, Carmen, has got a new form thanks to the adaptation by Ernest Šarközy and the performance by the Gypsy Devils band, the ballet of the Slovak National Theatre (SND) and CreDance group. THEATRE/DRAMA: Ivan Vyrypaev – Illusion – One of the most significant authors and most interesting actors on contemporary Russian stage offers another one of his excellent plays. In this bitter and funny intimate drama, he tries to disclose the mystery of the intimate universe of two married couples. At the end of their lives they evaluate, make comments, confess to each other and many surprises appear… The performance, directed by Eduard Kukláč, is part of the project Bring Your Foreigner Along to the SND which offer drama stagings with English subtitles. BIRD-WATCHING: For watching the White-tailed Eagle (or the Sea Eagle, Haliaeetus albicilla) near the Danube River, wintertime is best.
