Divadlo Štúdio Tanca (Dance Studio Theatre, DŠT) will open a new semester of courses with a taste of what people can learn there. On January 31 and February 2, 2018, at 18:00 DŠT will bring the Where Hand, There Leg performance presenting the skills and progress of adult DŠT dancers and children of the Private Elementary School Two Hands (Dve ruky). On the same two evenings (13:30-19:30), interested people can enroll for the next semester.
From among the courses opened in DŠT, two will be taught in English, the theatre website wrote. The classical dance course for beginners and lessons of Gyrokinesis have English as the language of instruction.
The classical dance for beginners – basic ballet routines, technique, and posture – will be led by Italian dancer Luca Tomao who became part of the team in October 2017.
The special Gyrokinesis classes focus on breath and a flowing series of movements to open up the entire body. Composed of lessons paid on an individual basis, the class will be led by Isabel Paladin, another Italian who arrived in October 2017, who previously lived, studied, and danced in the Netherlands.
More information can be found (also in English) on the DŠT website.
