The project presents various cuisines that can be found in different country’s regions, aiming at meals traditionally cooked on important family occasions such as weddings, feasts or Christmases. In addition, the display offers a look into the respective kitchens of minorities living in Slovakia, namely Hungarians, Germans, Croatians, Ukrainians, Ruthenians, Roma, Jews and Czechs.

Visitors can find out about interesting facts thanks to manifold exhibits, information boards and even traditional recipes. And, of course, they can also have a “real bite” of Slovakia, for every month there is a different dish to taste at the door.
