Bratislava inhabitants love to ice skate in the open air and this winter it’s coming to several localities in the town where they can do this sport either for free or a fee.

Ice rinks are traditionally located at Primaciálne Square and Hviezdoslavovo Square but it is possible to ice skate near shopping centres. There is also an ice rink in the Vajnory borough.

For those who need to rent skates or helmets, this service is available usually near every ice rink, offering also penguin- or whale-shaped stability aids for children. Moreover, for a smaller fee it is possible to sharpen the skates or use the checkroom.
