GRAMMY AWARD winner Marcus Miller is performing in Bratislava on November 1. The jazz bass guitarist will play with his band - Poogie Bell on drums, Michael "Patches" Stewart on trumpet, Keith Anderson on saxophone, Bobby Sparks on keyboards, and Gregoire Maret on harmonica. The Bratislava concert is part of a tour supporting his latest album, Free. The concert takes place at the Aréna Theatre at Viedenská cesta 10 at 20:00. Tickets cost Sk999 or Sk1,499. EXHIBITION: Sculptor Robert Kühmayer and Bratislava - This display presents sculptures by Bratislava native Robert Kühmayer (1883-1972), who stayed a part of the city's culture despite emigrating to Vienna in 1945. His most well-known works include the Duck Fountain on Šafárikovo Square and the sculpture of Piešťany's Crutch-breaker.

DUTCH artists Marjon van Kan and Carla Sparenberg are showing their works at the Dutch Silver Circus exhibition in Nitra. Van Kan is presenting her graphic works and paintings from the last two years that feature circus themes. Sparenberg is displaying her original jewelry, which is made mostly from silver and combined with precious stones. Objects the artists created together are on display as well.
