During their work, volunteers will visit blinds for hunters and mow the grass around them, while also picking up trash in the scrubland areas.
Monumental old elders with their roots, fallen trees and the humidity of this unique community resemble a tropical forest, the joyanworkd.weebly.com website suggests, adding that this site was also designated a Ramsar site in 1990. The local Panónsky háj Grove is an old elm-oak forest with majestic old oaks.

Besides these two main habitats there is also a fishpond with the occurrence of water-birds. Wood-peckers, Grey Herons, Black Storks and maybe also an Imperial Eagle can be met here with a bit of luck, and this location offers huge populations of fallow deer, European roe deer, moufflon, European hare and wild boar, while it is quite easy to observe and even photograph them.
