A TWELVE-METRE high outdoor climbing tower behind Bratislava's Aupark shopping centre is expected to be completed in two weeks, although some 250 climbers have already tested the wall over the last weekend.
Kondor, a Bratislava-based civic association of climbing lovers, is administering the tower to promote the sport. A speed climbing competition will take place in May, and a strength climbing contest in September.
Climbers receive all equipment at the tower, and will be supervised by trained climbers. The tower is open from 09:00 to 21:00 in April and May, and to 02:00 during the summer holidays.
