On November 4, the festival will be opened by two pieces on one evening, Area (by Peter Machajdík, Lucia Kašiarová-SK/CZ) and SYNovial (Marek Zelinka and Martin Talaga-SK/CZ). The next day, the piece: Peace will be premiered – the 1st part of a trilogy (Monika Haasová & Péter Cseri Trio Olga physical theatre-SK/HU). On Friday, the Slovak-only Debris company will perform its piece: Clear (Jozef Vlk, Stanislava Vlčeková, Peter Lomnický, Dáša Čiripová).
On November 7, at 10.30, the dance performance Verzus by Slovaks Kristína Chmelíková and Mária Danadová explores the issue of a woman in many facets, rather on the intimate than on a militant feminist note. In the evening, Jonathan Burrows (UK) and Matteo Fargion (IT) will show not only Both Sitting Duet, from 2002, which brought them to fame (for humour and intelligence intertwined with physical expression) but also their recent work Body Not Fit For Purpose, created for the Venice Biennial 2014.
The last night, November 8, offers two performances by international groupings on a single evening: Bakkheia from bod.y (Peter Šavel-CZ, Soňa Ferienčíková-SK, Víctor Pérez Armero-ES) - a dance performance studying the verge of insanity and geniality; and Pop by My Sisters’ Collected Fantasies (Luca Hillen, Felix Schellekens, Isadora Tomasi, Lucas Kramer-NL, IT) – a brief but intense audio-visual adventure with strong sound and light effects.
At the Closing Party, Marold L.Philippsen and Martin Ondriska (GER/SK) will perform the LeninDance.
Most of the evening performances take place at the A4 – Space of Contemporary Culture / Priestor súčasnej kultúry in Karpatská 2, tickets cost between €5 and €7. More detailed information can be found at www.nudancefest.sk.
