The paintings, photo-collages, videos, installations, graphic artworks, and more, present the contemporary Polish art – or rather its most progressive, creative and out-of-mainstream representatives. They create their own genres, intervene into old artworks, remake traditional techniques – all that to provoke and bring visitors to think, feel, oppose, agree – whatever but remain unaffected.

For those who need more of a clue, there is always an art student/lecturer at disposal to explain, add some information and offer an insight.

It is thus advisable – also due to the extent of the exhibition – two floors of the Kunsthalle in SNP Square 12, including several videos of various length – to leave some time for the visit.

The exhibition can be seen until June 28 daily except for Tuesdays, between 12:00 and 19:00 (21:00 on Fridays) free of charge. For more information and accompanying events, please go to www.kunsthallebratislava.sk.
