Rescuer and mountain guide IVAN KRAJČÍR has seen everything in his service of 30 years.
He and his colleagues once carried a 120-kilogram tourist who had broken his legs. A few years ago, he saved a child that fell out of its parent's hiking baby carrier down a waterfall in the Slovenský raj national park (Slovak Paradise).
Krajčír, therefore, knows how to plan a safe hike. In the interview, he also talks about the places where tourists do not go often, or in big numbers, despite the fact that it is well worth it.
Recently, there was an accident on the Tomášovský výhľad rock (Tomášovský View). A Polish tourist fell over the edge and succumbed to their injuries. Why has this place become such a frequent scene of tragedy?
