THE ITALIAN city of Turin hosts an exhibition presenting the latest trends in contemporary Slovak architecture.
The exhibition, called New Slovak Architecture, displays a selection of works, which have received the annual SAS (Society of Slovak Architects) Dušan Jurkovič prize.
On display are 50 panels presenting recent works of architecture in Slovakia including multi-functional buildings, housing complexes, family houses, villas, as well as industrial buildings, educational facilities, churches, examples of reconstruction as well as a comprehensive overview of current trends in Slovak architecture, Jana Šebestová of My@Vy - the Association of Friends of Slovakia told The Slovak Spectator.
SAS and the Slovak Embassy to Italy, as well as My@Vy, co-organised the exhibition, which will last until July 12.
