For the third year in a row, Bratislava will play host to the Mozart Festival Week celebrating the musical genius of the Austrian composer. Slovak, Czech, Austrian and German performers will pay tribute to the famous composer by focusing on Mozart's lesser known pieces. The festival is arranged by the Czech, Austrian, German and Dutch embassies in Slovakia. Below is a calendar outlining the week's events.
Tickets, which cost from 70 to 120 crowns per event, can be purchased at the Slovak Philharmonic at Palackého 2 (Tel: 5443 3351) or at the door of each event.
