For eight years, the decommissioned T3 tram car served as an unusual but independent cultural space on Bratislava's Tyršovo Nábrežie embankment. Now, the group behind it announced its ending.

"In short - we cannot go on anymore. We founded T3 when we were at university and he had 20-21 years. Since then, our programme has grown significantly and our work has become more professional. We presented more than 100 top bands, projects, theatrical works annually," the team said on their website.

"However, the reality of how art works in Slovakia does not allow us to devote ourselves fully to T3 other while also having full-time jobs and a number of other projects, which is exhausting and difficult to sustain."

According to the team, the decision was not easy, but ultimately they do not consider the end of T3 as a failure.

That is why the team announced several concerts and other events until the final event appropriately named "Final Stop" on June 20-21.

The team announced a fundraiser to help them carry out every event, among which are 40 concerts, several exhibitions and author readings, and to end the operation of the cultural space without any liabilities.
