A girl suffering from swine flu hospitalised in Kramáre

The kindergarten’s headmistress says she may have the H1N1 type.

An emergency was declared in a kindergarten in Prašník, close to Piešťany (Trnava Region), after a small girl suspected of suffering from swine flu was hospitalised.

After a few hours at kindergarten, she had a high fever and was taken to the Piešťany hospital by ambulance. As there was a suspicion she might be suffering from swine flu, she was transported to the Kramáre hospital in Bratislava. The tests later confirmed the virus, the TVnoviny.sk website reported.

The girl’s condition is serious.

According to the kindergarten’s headmistress, she has the H1N1 virus which has the same development as an ordinary flu, but is more aggressive.

The kindergarten has been closed for a week. Its employees are now cleaning and disinfecting the place, following the orders of hygienists, TVnoviny.sk wrote.
