A luxury diamond ring stolen in Bratislava

SLOVAK police are investigating the theft of a luxury diamond ring on the morning of November 7 in the Eurovea Gallery in Bratislava.

The ring made of white gold was encrusted with diamonds. The ALO Diamonds company asks the public for help, offering €20,000 for information leading to finding the perpetrators and the ring, Kateryna Matušková of SKPR Strategies informed, adding that the jewel is probably heading abroad, as it would be difficult to sell it in Slovakia.

In the boutique, there are commercial cameras installed which recorded suspicious men, the SITA newswire wrote.

“The theft caused damage of a considerable extent to the company,” Bratislava Regional Police spokesman Michal Szeiff said, as quoted by the TASR newswire. Investigator of the Regional Directorate of Police Corps has launched criminal prosecution.
