Co-founder and administration board chairman of Good Angel (Dobrý anjel) charity Andrej Kiska has terminated his affiliation with the organisation after seven years due to his ambition to run in the upcoming presidential elections. Kiska will be replaced in the post of administration board chair by his wife Martina Kisková.
"Good Angel has shown me through all these years how many shortcomings can be found in our state. The charity has its limits, and my indignation at the fact that things aren't changing for the better is immense. That's why I chose to run for president," said Kiska, as quoted by the TASR newswire. "I hope that I'll be able to promote positive changes in our society in this way." Kiska stressed that as a candidate he plans to comment on events and people in the political scene. "I'm aware that not all Good Angels will agree with my opinion and so I consider it right not to represent Good Angel in public any more."
No further changes are to be made to the organisation's management, with Ján Dobák still acting in the role of director and Ľudmila Kolesárová as marketing director.
