Deputy chairman of the New Citizen's Alliance (ANO) Imrich Béreš has indicated that he will most likely leave his position within the coalition party, the daily Pravda writes. Following talks with shareholders of the housing construction savings bank Prvá Stavebná Šporiteľňa (PSS), Béreš announced that he has been offered a managerial post within the firm.

Before his nomination for the post of chairman of the board of directors can come into fruition, it must receive the approval of the top officials of PSS and the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS).

Béreš explained that the PSS offer was far too good to not accept; furthermore, he believes his potential would be more effectively used than it has been in the ruling coalition given current conflicts. In addition, he feels that parliament lacks any normal debate.
