INDEPENENDT MP Miroslav Abelovský, a former member of the Movement for a Democratic Slovakia, will leave parliament by the end of October.
Abelovský confirmed that he would want to start working at the attorney general's office and that among the reasons for his decision was his ambition to become the new attorney general.
The term of office of the current Attorney General, Milan Hanzel, ends in January 2004.
