Bernd Wagner will become the new chairman of the board of directors of gas distributor Slovenský Plynárenský Priemysel (SPP) as of July 1.
SPP spokeswoman Dana Kršáková stated that the move is part of the shareholders' agreement, which requires that chairmen of the board rotate annually. Wagner is replacing Philipp Boucly, who will work as a regular member of the board.
"In the near future, our priority is the successful accomplishment of talks on new contracts for the purchase of natural gas with the company Gazprom export, with the aim of creating a long-term basis for secure and reliable supplies of natural gas to Slovakia," Wagner said.
There will also be changes on the basis of the rotating presidency between French and German shareholders in SPP’s subsidiaries, eustream and SPP-distribúcia.
Christophe Poillion will become the new chairman of eustream, replacing Andreas Rau, who will become a member of the board of directors. Louis de Fouchecour will replace Georg Friedrich Rosenstock, deputy chairman of the eustream supervisory board. Assesor Sebastian Jochem will become the chairman of the SPP-distribúcia board of directors as of July 1, replacing Stephan Grit. SPP-distribúcia director general Kazimir Kmit, who is retiring, will be replaced by Bohumil Kratochvíl. The current deputy chairman of SPP-distribúcia, Antoin Jourdain, will be replaced by Michael Fipper, who will become a new member of the supervisory board.
