Q: If you had a chance to dine with one person from history, who would that be?
A: It's a pity I only get one choice. I love Socrates, for instance, his philosophy, his way of thinking.
Q: If you were stranded on a desert island, what book would you want to have with you?
A: I would certainly take one of the Slovak poets. Maybe Laco Novomeský, or the lyrical poems of Hviezdoslav, which is a difficult but beautiful piece of writing, or Urban's Živý Bič (The Living Whip). Among others I would think of taking Kazantsakis' The Lasr Temptation of Christ. It's a lovely book.
