CANADIAN metallurgy company Alcan yesterday announced that it was going to build a plant for the production of goods for Eastern European machinery and construction companies.
According to the daily SME Alcan plans to start production in 2007 and employ around 200 people. It is not clear as yet where in Slovakia Alcan will build the plant.
The company will invest $35 million (€28 million).
