General Prosecutor Jaromír Čižnár decided to scrap the decision of a prosecutor from the Special Prosecutor’s Office, who dismissed the complaint of Marian Kočner.
Kočner is charged with ordering the murder of Ján Kuciak, in which the journalist's fiancée’s was also killed.
Čižnár delivered his decision on July 29. Kočner’s attorney Marek Para received the decision 11 days later and the Special Prosecutor’s office on August 7.
On May 2, Para submitted a request for extraordinary remedy against a decision of the Special Prosecutor’s Office.

The latter had denied Kočner’s complaint against the charges in the murder case.
