On Sunday, October 30 Slovakia will switch from Central European Summer Time (CEST) to Central European Time (CET), the TASR newswire wrote.

Overnight from Saturday to Sunday all clocks will be shifted back one hour from 3:00 to 2:00. Daylight Saving Time was first introduced in 1915 and has been used ever since in most EU countries, in almost all US states and the Middle East since 1979.
