Danube Wings flies to Venice

+SLOVAK air carrier Danube Wings has been flying from Bratislava and Košice to Venice three times a week since April this year. The new route is operated in cooperation with Italian carrier Megaride Air, making use of the support the latter receives from Venice Airport and from the local government and local businesses in the Venice area, the SITA newswire wrote.

“I believe that the new route will be extensively used not only by business travellers for whom it was primarily launched, but also by tourists from both countries,” said Danube Wings general director Ján Rostáš in late February when introducing the routes.
