BEACUSE of changes in the ownership structure of the company Theben, the Hospodársky denník economic daily will only be available on the internet, stated the daily's editor in chief, Peter Kasalovský.
News agency SITA reported on November 24 that the change would also bring about personnel changes within the daily.
It is not clear how many reporters will leave the newspaper, but Kasalovský said that all have been offered the choice to stay and participate in the internet project.
The change, according to Kasalovský, is a "small revolution in thinking and adjusting to current conditions".
He believes that the internet is the medium of the future.
The completion of changes in the daily is planned for the end of January 2004, and negotiations with investors are ongoing.
