Education Minister Martin Fronc promised to free the regional schools of debts next year through a bill on funding for elementary and high schools.
As of January 1 schools should receive state subsidies according to the number of pupils. The new model will apply to all types of schools: state, private even and parochial.
However, the law might cause problems to smaller schools. The minister promised a three-year transition period for these institutions.
