On March 10, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico had to put off a working visit to London due to unfavourable weather in the British Isles, the SITA newswire wrote.
The visit was to include a conference on the euro at the Bank of England, where Fico was supposed to deliver a speech. Finance Minister Ján Počiatek, Economy Minister Ľubomír Jahnátek and Governor of the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) Ivan Šramko would have accompanied the prime minister.
Fico and Brown might make up for the lost opportunity by meeting at the European Council session on March 13-14 in Brussels. SITA
