Free Info Days for foreigners relaunched

Foreigners living in Slovakia will get necessary information about life in Slovakia once a month at the Foreigners’ Police department in Bratislava.

Foreigners living in Slovakia will be offered free consultations on residence, work and life in Slovakia during the Info Days that start on April 26.

Info Days

Where: Regrútska 4, Bratislava

When: every last Thursday of a month

Time: 9:00-14:00

Run by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM)’s Migration Information Centre (MIC), they will take place once a month, on the last Thursday at the premises of the Foreigners’ Police department on Regrútska Street in Bratislava.

The employees of MIC, experts from various institutions, such as the labour offices, business licence office, register office’s departments and social insurer Sociálna Poisťovňa, will offer free advice to people coming from countries outside the EU between 9:00 and 14:00.

“The representation of institutions present at the respective Info Day may change, depending on their capacities,” Michal Milla from IOM’s media & communication unit informed The Slovak Spectator.

The information will be regularly published on the IOM MIC website.

Apart from the Info Days, foreigners can obtain free consultations and other services directly at the MIC offices in Bratislava (on Grösslingova 35) and Košice (on Poštová 1), as well as by phone and email.
