French ‘Spiderman’ scales Slovak Radio building

French climber Alain Robert, also known as the ‘French Spiderman’, only needed around 15 minutes to climb the Slovak Radio building in Bratislava on April 12.

Robert, a climber who is known to prefer buildings to mountains, said after the feat that he had felt very dehydrated after the first several meters and that if the radio's reporters had not passed him a bottle of water he probably would not have continued climbing.

Robert originally planned to climb the National Bank of Slovakia’s tower next to the radio station but the bank’s management did not give him a permit.

Robert is in Slovakia attending the 'Hory a Mesto 2007'(Mountains and City) festival.
