SK-TEX plans to erect a plant manufacturing heat and sound insulation in Senica. The investor plans to invest over €3 million in the project. According to the investment intention that the investor has sent for Environment Impact Assessment (EIA), the plant should create 22 jobs, the SITA newswire reported.
The start of the construction is planned for this year while the completion is scheduled for a year later. The company plans complex recycling of waste from textile and used clothes in its Senica plant. The plan is to produce 5,400 tons of textiles explosives, annually, destined for the textile industry. The clients in this segment will mainly be important suppliers of carmakers including HP Pelzer, Borgers, Faurecia, Juta and Rieter.
The plant wants to produce 1,000 tons of blow-in insulation used in energy construction and 3,200 tons of heat and sound isolation used in the automotive industry and manufacturing of mattresses in the furniture industry. As well, the plant should make 300 tons of alternative fuel annually in the form of briquettes from textile dust filters.
