ECONOMY Minister Pavol Rusko said that attracting the Korean car maker Hyundai to Slovakia was his top priority for 2004, the daily SME wrote on December 23.
Hyundai officials are currently deciding between Poland and Slovakia as the location of their new plant in central Europe. A final decision is expected in the early months of 2004.
Rusko said he also wanted to concentrate on the construction of industrial parks in the eastern, central, and northern parts of the country, with a special focus on up to seven regions.
