MOVEMENT for a Democratic Slovakia (HZDS) will support early elections but the party is also willing to back a temporary minority government.
According to the HZDS board, the second option comes into consideration provided that early elections are announced, privatisation of strategic firms is stopped, and "other measures that would considerably deepen the social problems of citizens" are halted, said HZDS deputy chairman Sergej Kozlík.
HZDS would only back the minority cabinet provided that PM Mikuláš Dzurinda is not at its lead.
