Industrial producer prices stay the same

Industrial producer prices in Slovakia for the local market and export did not change in July compared to the previous month, the Statistics Office of Slovakia reported on August 28.

The prices of industrial producers for the local market went up by 0.5 percent from June.

Prices of electricity, gas, steam and heated water, as well as prices of industrial manufacturing products, went up 0.5 percent. The prices of raw materials increased by 0.1 percent.

On a year-on-year basis, industrial producer prices for the local market for export went up by 3.1 percent. Prices for the local market grew by 1.3 percent.

This growth was also mainly influenced by rising utilty prices, which went up by 4.1 percent. On the other hand, prices of raw materials fell by 4.8 percent and prices of industrial manufacturing products went down by 0.8 percent.
