THE FINANCIAL group J&T will have a bank in Slovakia, the daily SME wrote.
The Czech J&T Banka can enter the Slovak market without a permit from the Slovak Central Bank as the respective rules changed with Slovakia's entry to the EU.
"We plan to have a bank in Slovakia," said Petr Málek from J&T Banka.
The Czech bank specialises in private banking, managing the finances of large corporations and rich clients.
Other financial institutions from EU member states such as Austria and Great Britain may also be coming to Slovakia.
