THE CHRISTIAN Democratic Movement (KDH) is the only Slovak party that is against the recently approved EU constitution. MP Vladimír Palko said that KDH was considering initiating a petition to hold a referendum on the document, wrote the Pravda daily.
PM Mikuláš Dzurinda is against the referendum. It is expected that the Slovak parliament will approve the constitution, as all parliamentary parties except for the KDH support it.
According to the KDH, Slovakia is losing its sovereignty to the document.
