The Christian-Democrats (KDH) plan to sue New Citizen's Alliance (ANO) leader Pavol Rusko for libel. Rusko accused the Interior Ministry led by KDH's Vladimír Palko of conspiring with tycoon František Mojžiš who last week told media that Rusko extorted money from him. Rusko even suggested that the owner of unlicensed deposit company Drukos has injected Sk10 million to the KDH.
Rusko, former co-owner of private TV network Markíza, insists that there is no longer a conflict between him and Mojžiš, but rather between him on one side and the Interior Ministry and Mojžiš on the other. He assumes that the investigators promised Mojžiš lenience when handling the Drukos fraud case if he testifies against Rusko, the daily SME writes.
Mojžiš claims that Rusko demanded loans from his company in return for avoiding criticism of Mojžiš' company on Markiza TV.
