Prime Minister Robert Fico said that the leaders of parties of the ruling coalition met at the Coalition Council on September 2 in a constructive mood.

They discussed the special parliamentary session initiated by the opposition to oust Justice Minister Štefan Harabin in a no-confidence vote.

"The session is absolutely groundless. It has been a bubble since the very beginning," Fico told a news conference on September 2.

All coalition MPs will vote against the motion, he said.

"It is the opposition's circus. The opposition has no other alternative but fabricating nonsense concerning members of the cabinet." SITA
