The Economy Ministry is holding talks with around 80 foreign investors who are interested in Slovakia, Minister Juraj Miškov said on Tuesday, January 4, the TASR newswire reported.
“The investors come from various spheres. Some of them are companies supplying components for the automotive industry, some are engaged in construction, while others are investors in production with higher added value,” said Miškov. In order to foster interest in investing in Slovakia, the ministry is planning to present the Slovak business sector abroad via road-shows. “We’re planning to take an investment road-show across the USA at the turn of February and March. Likewise, a road-show in Germany is in the works for the first quarter of 2011,” said the minister.
