All journalists and reporters working for the daily had their contracts terminated on May 31. However, most of them will stay on and work for a new daily newspaper, called NO 1, from September.

"The new daily will follow the content of the current Národná Obroda, however, it will be released in a more attractive cover with a smaller 32 page format during the week, while the weekend issue will run to 48 pages," Čeredejev told SITA.

It should also contain colour pages. "The publishing house believes this step will result in higher reader interest," he said.
