Slovakia's first Internet-based daily newspaper - The Internet News - was introduced onto the market September 9 in cooperation with the press agency SITA. The publication will provide domestic and international news coverage, as well as culture and sports and will be edited by Jan Fule, president of the Slovak Syndicate of Journalists, who will work with 15 other editors, reporters and "commentators."
Fule said that the costs of the enterprise will be covered by Edom publishing house and through Internet advertising. He added that by operating on the Internet, the group can provide a unique news experience for readers because The Internet News provides moving images and sound.
