No summer holiday for 34 percent

AS MANY as 34 percent of Slovaks do not take a summer holiday at all, according to a new GfK poll. The main reason for foregoing a break is a lack of money, the Pravda daily reported.

The poll also showed that there are major regional differences in terms of holidaymaking.

In Bratislava, only 15.2 percent of respondents said they did not take a summer holiday at all, while this was the case with 42.7 percent of respondents living in the Košice region.
