A TOTAL of 20.5 percent of respondents in a recent survey voiced their satisfaction with developments since the latest general election in March 2012, according to a survey by MVK agency out on February 10, as reported by the TASR newswire.
The poll was conducted with a view to the fact that the ruling Smer party will soon begin the second half of the term of its single-party government.
Smer voters were most likely to be satisfied with developments since 2012, with 53.2 percent of them voicing their content in this regard. Slovak National Party (SNS) voters were second (33.4 percent), followed by supporters of the nationalist People's Party - Our Slovakia (LSNS) with 22.3 percent.
Conversely, not a single voter of Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) expressed satisfaction with post-election developments.
Meanwhile, dissatisfaction was voiced by a total of 73.7 percent of the respondents, with the rate close to 100 percent among voters of the ethnic-Hungarian Party of Hungarian Community (SMK) as well as those of NOVA and SaS.
The face-to-face survey was carried out on a representative sample of 1,106 respondents between January 15-21.
