Slovakia will learn more about the state of safety at its nuclear power plants at the end of October as the Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ÚJD) plans to submit a final report drawn up from the so-called stress tests at that time, the SITA newswire reported.
The stress tests are to evaluate safety risks and any flaws at nuclear power plants already in operation and those under construction.
"The regulatory authority will submit a preliminary report on the progress accomplished in implementation of the tests," at an earlier date the authority told the SITA newswire.
